The new edition of The Artist’s Guide to Sketching releases today, and I want to thank everyone for your enthusiasm and kind words.
We offered copies for sale in our little web store (sorry, USA only) and so many of you wanted signed copies that we had to enlist the help of the whole family to help us pack and ship.
We have already sent out over 800 copies, and many of you have received them, or you will soon.
If you ordered a copy and haven’t gotten it yet, please hang in there—we’re almost caught up and hope to have every order that we receive by today in the mail by early next week. Thanks for your patience; it will be worth the wait.
Mine arrived yesterday morning - I’ve been savouring each page! It gave me a whole new appreciation for Kincaid’s work, I had no idea he had so much skill. It’s so fun reading your adventures, and inspired me to do some sketching again on the roadside in my down time, something I’ve been neglecting for a long time now! When getting out the oil paints feels daunting, it’s so good to have a reminder that getting back to basics and simple tools is good for the soul too. Thank you so much for another great book that I’ll also read a thousand times and enjoy!
I just received my copy of your book. It is so engaging that I dropped everything to have a sit down to read the afternoon away. Not much effort to put together an evening meal. ‘Just grab something from the fridge. Lots of apples in there.’ I appreciate the time and effort you gave to the project. A masterpiece. You done good. 👍
