Susan, Joyce, and DO all expressed interest in the artist Fidelia Bridges (1834 - 1923), so I thought I’d share a little more about her.

She was known for her detailed paintings of wildflowers, butterflies, and birds, and she usually painted them outdoors in their natural settings.
